Each wall-hung kelp sculpture is handmade to order in your chosen size, ensuring every piece is individually unique.
The Small Double Kelp is made from forged and tapered 5/8” round bar, 1.5 inch hollow steel balls, and 1”x1/8” twisted flat bar.
The “Currents” variations measure approximately 24 inches by 24 inches.
The “Slack Tide” variation measures approximately 36 inches by 36 inches.
They are sealed with a protective hot wax coating. They intended for indoor display, and may rust if exposed to a lot of humidity or moisture. If you’d like to display yours outdoors, it will eventually begin to form a rust patina (which is elegant in its own way!).
Mounting : the hollow steel balls both have a hole drilled in the back, which receives a screw or nail (use anchors if you do not screw into a stud).
